Are you at a loss for how to understand and help your child who is self harming?
Often caregivers are completely confused and worried for their kids when they find out they have been engaging in self harm. Parent responses can range from fear and worry right through to profound anger. Your uncertainty makes sense. It might be the first time you’ve heard that this even exists.
This workshop is designed to help parents understand what generally leads children and teens to self harm. It teaches what’s behind the behavior and explores how caregivers can contribute to creating the conditions our child/teen might need in order to cope in other ways.
