You’ve made it here—and you have already taken many courageous steps to get this far. Life is full of so much struggle and heartache. A difficult relationship, a painful loss, an unexpected change of plans, an abandoned dream, or an unclear future—these are just some of the countless challenges we face over a lifetime. Sometimes, it can be helpful to have company along the way.
Finding the right therapist isn’t always easy, and beginning your therapy journey can be scary. It’s important for you to feel trust and acceptance from a therapist in a space where you can be heard and understood. It is vital that you feel respected as the expert of your own experience and story.
As a therapist in training, this is my aim. I am committed to offering you compassion, authenticity, and non-judgmental curiosity as you navigate your life. Together, we can explore how to connect with your inner wisdom to support transformation bringing comfort, healing, and wellness.
I work with teens, adults, and helping professionals, including educators and those in caregiving roles. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I have a unique understanding of diverse learning profiles as well as experience with burnout and compassion fatigue. I am passionate about supporting teenagers to explore issues of self-worth, identity, and healthy relationships.
There is room for everyone in this healing work, and I enthusiastically welcome individuals from all backgrounds, including those belonging to the 2SLGBTQ+ community, a community to which I belong.
I am currently completing a Master of Counselling degree at City University in Canada, specializing in Counselling Psychology.
With humility, I am privileged to learn and practice on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), q̓ʷɑn̓ƛ̓ən̓ (Kwantlen), q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), Máthxwi (Matsqui), and se’mya’me (Semiahmoo) peoples. My practice is rooted in a commitment to reconciliation and building a healing relationship with these lands and their peoples.
