When we meet, you will be greeted with a warm, open and non-judgmental presence. As a counsellor in training, I value every individual’s ability to make changes in their life and shift patterns that are no longer serving them. I appreciate the inherent strengths, abilities and wisdom that each person has and will work collaboratively with you to engage yours, no matter what you may be going through.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Lethbridge and am currently working on my Master of Education in Counselling Psychology at the University of British Columbia. Throughout my education and developing practise, I’ve been working through an emotion focused, person centered and trauma informed lens. I have completed several workshops, including one in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy through the Vancouver Families and Couples Institute as well as Level 1 and 2 workshops for Trauma-Informed Practises.
I am open to working with individuals of all ages and walks of life, and look forward to building a safe and empowering journey with you.
